POLSKI KOMITET ZIELARSKI [Polish Herbal Committee] a member of PASMI

PASMI Polish Association of Self-Medication Industry with the Board’s resolution of 21st June 2018 admitted Polski Komitet Zielarski as a supporting member.

“The new form of cooperation between organizations is an important stage in the development of each of them. PASMI is open to creating a platform for dialogue aimed at supporting initiatives pursuing recommending and implementing sustainable and beneficial legal and economic regulations allowing for the further development and innovation of the pharmaceutical industry. Admission as a supporting member of Polski Komitet Zielarski is an additional space for PASMI to support solutions dedicated to patients and consumers. ” –  says PASMI’s President, Ewa Jankowska.

Polski Komitet Zielarski’s one of the most important tasks is to create views on contemporary herbal medicine and the promotion of Polish herbal products in Europe. The aim of the association is also to disseminate knowledge about herb processing and herbal medicine, promoting ethical standards in trade, agriculture, industry, science and other fields related to herb processing and herbal medicine.

Polski Komitet Zielarski considers cooperation with PASMI as another important step in the development of Polish herbal medicine and herb processing. The Committee’s operations are in the vast majority consistent with PASMI activities, especially those concerning legal and system solutions in the field of OTC drugs. This is an exceptionally important event for Polski Komitet Zielarski strengthening the domestic market of herbal products. First of all, it offers the possibility of jointly creating views on rational phytotherapy and rational food supplementation. ” – says PKZ’s President, dr Jerzy Jambor.
